<br />ditions. John M. Hoy, Engineer, 844 North Birch Street, rel~reaenttng' Harry
<br />Tancredi, stated the conditions imposed were acceptable with exception of condition
<br />(6) "That Wright Street be paved to City standards a minimum width of lO feet east
<br />of and l0 feet west of the center line from the southerly boundary of this tract
<br />to Seventeenth Street; that the improvement plans be included with the improvement
<br />plans for the tract." Mr. Hoy stated there was no objection to improving Wright
<br />Street on the west side of the street down-to 17th Street, but objected to paving
<br />the east side of Wright Street, thereby improving property he does not own. The
<br />Director of Public Works satisfactorily answered his questions. On motion of
<br />Counc~lm-~ Reinly, seconded by Hubbard and carried, Tentative Tract Map No. 4404
<br />filed by Harry Tancredi, was approved subject to all conditions except Condition 6,
<br />and that Wright Street be paved to City standards a minimum width of ten feet west
<br />of the center line and the southerly boundary of the Tract to 17th Street; that
<br />improvement plans be included with the improvement of the tract and wh~ re the
<br />elevation is irregular, said irregularity sba]l be removed.

<br />Communication was presented from Don Woodward, Inc., requesting permission to
<br />substitute a bond in the sum of $47,000.00 covering Final Map of Tract No. 3374,
<br />filed by Farmers Security Come, any, due to purchase of the property and map from
<br />party now providing the ~xiginal bond. On motion of Councilman Hubbard, seconded
<br />by Brewer and carried, the request was approved to substitute a bond in the sum of
<br />$47,000.00 covering Final Map of Tract No. 3374 filed by Farmers Security Company,
<br />on property located between Memory Lane, Flower Street and the Santa Ana Freeway,
<br />creating 37 residential lots and one large site, subject to approval of the bond by
<br />the Attorney as to form, and agreement covering improvements ordered signed.

<br />On motion of Counc~lm-u Hubbard, seconded by Brewer and carried, proper officials
<br />were authorized to execute agreement with Santa Aha Neon Company, Frank and Mary
<br />Batitis, dba Frs Mar Restaurant, and Mrs. Ruby McFarland, to construct an electric
<br />sign in front of property at 4414 Westminster Avenue, which extends over and upon
<br />the established setback line.

<br />It was moved by Counci]m-n Hubbard, seconded by Brewer and carried, that escrow
<br />instructions No. 46606-C, dated August 18, 1961, be approved and signed with Pacifi,
<br />Theatres Develolmment Cempany, for street easement on the west side of King Street,
<br />north of Fifth Street, in the amount of $846.00.

<br />The Council having unanimously waived the reading of the Resolution, on motion of
<br />Counci]m-n Hubbard, seconded by Brewer and carried, the following Resolution
<br />entitled:

<br /> paying a cash consideration"
<br />
<br />from Pacific Theatres Development Company, a California Corporation, for street
<br />easement on the west side of King Street, north of Fifth Street, in the sum of
<br />$8~6.00, was considered and passed by the following vote;
