<br />A petition was presented signed by approximately 55 persons requesting a Two-way
<br />
<br />stop sign on 19th Street: at Greenleaf Street. Mr. E. H. Wilhelmi, 2028 Greenleaf
<br />
<br />Street stated m,~y children must cross 19thStreet going to and from Jefferson School,
<br />
<br />and due to the fast traffic, requested the installation of a stop sign on 19th
<br />
<br />Street at Oreenleaf Street for the safety of the school children. Mrs. Patricia
<br />
<br />G. Nevils, 1618 Oreenleaf Street, stated n,~-a~rous serious accidents have occurred
<br />
<br />at this intersection and the speed of the traffic is increasing daily. Mrs. Geral~
<br />~mith, 2033 Greenleaf Street, stated the traffic is heavy on 19th Street and re-
<br />quested a stop sign on Ross Street and a Yield sign on 19th Street. The Council
<br />
<br />having unanimouslywaived the reading of the Resolution, on motion of Councilman
<br />Hubbard, seconded by Brewer and carried, the following Resolution entitled:

<br />"Resolution No. 61-235 declaring stop intersection"
<br />
<br />installing a st~p sign at the intersection of Nineteenth Street and Oreenleaf
<br />Street, directing traffic on Nineteenth Street to stop to traffic on Greenleaf
<br />Street, reference reqmest of Mrs. Rose Wilhelm~ et al, was considered and passed by
