Segerstrom and four other l~ <br />persoas owning property located upon the Old Delhi Drainage District Channel, betwee~ <br />Talbert Road and Sunflower Avenue, w~st of Bristol Street, proposing to fill said <br />drainage to the level of the adjoining land, supplying the dirt and grade at owners' <br />expense, in exchange for quitclaim by the City to said lands or drainage easements <br />across the same, at said location, and requesting to be advised if such proposal is <br />accepted. <br /> <br />On recommendation of the Department of Public Works, and on motion of Councilman <br />Hubbard, seconded by Schlueter and carried, bond in the sum of $141,500.00, filed byl <br /> <br />Henry C. Cox, for the improvements on property located on the south side of Delhi <br /> <br />Release Bond <br />Tract No. 38~1 <br /> <br />Road approximately 2500 feet west of Bristol Street, in Tract No. B679, was ordered i: <br />released and improvements accepted as completed. <br /> <br />On recommendation of the Department of Public Works, and on motion of Councilman <br />Hubbard, seconded by Scblmeter and carried, Cashier's check No. 10023938, dated May <br />25, 1961, in the s~ of $15,000.00, filed by Hodges Building Corporation, for the <br />improvements on eight lots located 320 feet north of McFadden Avenue and on the west <br /> <br />side of Grand Avenue, in Tract No. 38~1, was ordered released and improvements <br /> <br />Change Order No. 1 <br />Cox Bros. Const. Co. <br />Widen Bolsa Ave. btn <br />Harbor Blvd. west of <br />Maxine Street, <br />Project 120 <br /> <br />accepted as completed. <br /> <br />On motion of Counc~!m~u Hubbard, seconded by Schlueter and carried, the request of <br />the Department of Public Works was granted, and Change Order No. t, dated September <br />22, 1961, with Cox Brothers Construction Company approved, for additional materials <br />and labor not anticipated nor included in the contract and necessary in the widening <br />of Bolsa Avenue, bet~reen Harbor Boulevard and a point approximately 600 feet west <br />of Maxine Street, Project 120, at an increased total cost of $4,256.96. <br /> <br /> <br />
