On the southeast corner there is an existing <br />single unit with a garage apartment in the rear which were approved by Variance <br />in 1957, and on Kilson Drive and Anahurst Place there are triplexes, which were <br /> <br />approved by Variance in November, 1959. The rental of the second dwelling would <br />provide needed additional income and the PlanningDepartment advised this area <br /> <br />would be zoned R-2 District in the near future. Harold L. Wilson stated the original Variance re- <br /> <br />quested a two-story 24 unit apartment building but it is now desired to erect 16 <br /> <br />one-story apartment units on the property. Mrs. Claire Dorsey, 1414 North Broad- <br />way, presented photographs showing the surrounding area and stated one-story units <br /> <br />would be an asset to the community.
