Gutsch was presented toll <br />establish a trailer park on property at 600 South Sullivan Street, in the R-3 Distri~t. <br />George H. Rose, 461 Dalehurst Avenue, Los Angeles, pre~ent~d a photo copy of letter <br />of the Manhger dated November ~ '1958, and on motion of Councilman Hubbard~ seconded by Schlue- <br />ter and carried, the letterwas received and filect. Mr. Rose called attention to <br />Conditions as set forth in the Department of Public Works letter dated October 13, <br />1961 as follows: (a) owner shall dedicate 42' of said property for the purpose of <br />the extension of Willits Street; (b) the requirement that the owner shall dedicate <br /> <br />52' along the westerly boundary of subject property; (d) that the owner place curb, <br />gutter and sidewalk and pave to the centerline of Willits Street, the new curb and <br />gutter to be placed 32 feet southerly of the centerline of Willits Street; (e) that <br />the owner place curb, gutter and sidewalk and pave to the centerline of Fairview, <br />the new curb and gutter to be placed 42 feet easterly of the centerline of Fairview <br />Avenue. Mr. Rose further called attention to items as set forth in the letter of <br />the Manager, dated November 7, 1958, as follows: (1) that the owner shall dedicate <br />to the City, without cost ~o the City, a strip of land 40 feet in width extending <br />along the entire northerly eclge~of the property; (2) the owner shall dedicate to the <br />City without charge a strip of land 1~.9 feet in width along the entire westerly edg, <br />of the property, and the City, will purchase from the owner, at a negotiated price, <br />an additional width to make this strip of land along the easterly edge of property <br />feet wide, plus the additional area required for a 25 foot radius at the intersectiol <br />of Fairview Avenue and Willits Street, extended. Henry Boss, 12411 Pleasant Place, <br />Garden Grove, representing the owners of the property, stated there are seventeen <br />trailer parks now existing, fifteen of them are located in the western part of the <br />City and we are not asking to establish in a new area. Further, in June, 1961, the <br />Planning Department and Planning Con~nission recommended and approved a Conditional <br /> <br />Use Permit on property to the north which is contiguous to the subject property and <br /> <br /> <br />
