street tree planting and other landscaping along the length of the corridor. <br />In addition to the landscaping in public areas, the plan also sets forth <br />landscaping standards and guidelines for develnpment areas along the corridor, <br />Together the public and private landscaping will provide a much more consistent <br />and higher quality appearance than currently exists in the area. The plan also <br />set~ £orth lille planning and architectural standards and guidelines which will <br />contribute to the quality and consistency of future private development in the <br />area. The project will not result in the obstruction of any scenic vista or <br />view currently open to the public. <br /> <br />The project will have a significant beneficial effect on both the quantity and <br />quality of recreational resources in the project area. The extensive open <br />space areas called for in the plan provide opportunities to develop a variety <br />of recreational facilities that will serve not only employees and customers of <br />businesses within the corridor, but also residents in ad.~oining neighborhoods, <br /> <br />Cultural Resources <br /> <br />The project will not affect any historic or prehistoric sites, buildings, <br />structures, or objects, or restrict any known existing religious or sacred uses <br />in the project area, <br /> <br />II <br /> <br /> <br />
