<br />Communication was presented from the Planning Department requesting action be de-
<br />ferred until the February 5 meeting on Tentative Tract Map No. hh71, filed by

<br />northeast and southeast corners of proposed Edinger and Grand Avenues. On motion
<br />
<br />of councilman Hubbard, seconded by Brewer and carried, action was continued until
<br />February 19, 1962.

<br />This being the continued action on Preliminary Record of Survey Map No. 232, cc~-
<br />munication dated January 10, 1962., was presented from the Planning Department re-
<br />commending approval of Preliminary Record of Survey Map No. 232, filed by Hubert
<br />and Rena Melton, creating two lots located on the north side of Edinger Avenue be-
<br />tween Sullivan and Fairview Streets, subject to conditons. Attorney Edwin P. Mart~
<br />811 North Broadway, representing Hubert and Rena Melton~ requested clarification
<br />Condi~kms "g" and "h" and deletion of Conddtion "i" pertaining to drainage a~sess-
<br />ment fees. On motion of Councilman Heinly, seconded by Hubbard and carried, Prel~
<br />inary Record of Survey Map No. 232, filed by Hubert and Rena Melton, was approved
<br />subject to all conditions, with the exception of Condition "i" as it applies to
<br />corner property.
<br />
<br />Communication was presented from the Planning Depsrtment recommending approval of
<br />Preliminary Record of Survey Map No. 235, filed by B. J. Haupert, et al, creating
<br />three lots located on the south side of Bolsa Avenu% approximately 500 feet east
<br />of Gunther Street, subject to conditions. B. J. Haupert, 3502 West BOlsa Avenue,
<br />stated most of the conditions have already been complied with, and requested
<br />
<br />deletion of Condition "d" pertaining to a drainage assessment fee as this
<br />
<br />was not imposed on the original Record of Survey. Councilman Heinly disqualified

<br />Hubbard, seconded by Schlueter and carried, Preliminary Record of Survey Map No.
<br />235, filed by B. J. Haupert, et al, was approved subject to all conditions except
<br />Condition "d" reference the drainage assessment.

<br />On motion of Councilman Hubbard, seconded by Brewer and carried, the agreement
<br />Diehl, Evans and Company, increasing their annual auditing fees from ~2,500.00 to
<br />a maximum annual fee not 'to exceed ~4,000.00, was referred to the Manager.
<br />
<br />The Council having unanimously waived the reading of the Resolution~ on motion of
<br />Counctlm~u Hubbard, seconded by Brewer and carried, the following Resolution en-
<br />titled:
