<br />This being the date set for hearing on the proposed smendment to the Drainage Phase~
<br /> i
<br />of the Public Services Element of the General Plan of Community Development of
<br />Santa Ana, as adopted by Resolution No. 61-188 on August 7, 1961; no protests were
<br />received and the hearing closed. The Council having unanimously waived the reading
<br />of the Resolution, on motion of Councilman Hubbard, seconded by Schlueter and car-
<br />ried, the following Resolution entitled:
<br />
<br /> "Resolution No. 62-49 amending the 'Drainage - A Phase of the Public
<br /> Service Element of the General Plan of Community Development'"
<br />
<br />by adopting that certain map entitled "Southeast Drainage Area, Exhibit A," dated
<br />January, 1962, which shows original drainage facility alignments and alternate
<br />alignments in Local Drainage Area No. III, was considered and passed by the follow-
<br />ing vote:

<br /> Dale H. Heinly, Bob Brewer~ A. A. Hall
<br />Noes, Councilmen None
<br />Absent, Councilmen None

<br />Appeal Application No. 55 of Gene T. and Alice Morales, to build a vertical wall
<br />along portions of the rear patio roof line in the R-1 District, on property at
<br />
<br />1715 So. Towner Street, wherein the Applicant appeals the denial of the Zoning Ad-
<br />ministrator. Mike Lucio, representing the Applicant, stated the neighboring resi-
<br />dents do not object to the construction of the wall. The Council having unanimous-
<br />ly waived the reading of the Resolution, on motion of Councilman Hubbard, seconded
<br />by Schlueter and carried, the following Resolution entitled:
<br />

<br /> Planning Cc~,aission and grauting Variance Application No.
<br /> 1593 filed by Gene T. ond Alice Morales"
<br />

<br /> Communication was presented from the Planning Cammission recommending approval of
<br /> proposed purchase of certain property located on the south side of Walnut Street,
<br /> 156.96 feet west of Parton Street and 183.89 feet east of Flower Street~ for the
<br /> purpose of expanding facilities at the Santa Ana Senior High School. On motion of
<br /> Councilman Heinly, seconded by Hubbard and carried, the communication from the Plan-
<br /> ning Commission was received and filed.
<br />
<br /> Ccmmmnication was presented from the Planning Department reco,~ending approval of
<br /> Preliminary Record of Survey 250, filed by J. B. and Dan Greenberg, dividing a par-
<br /> cel located on the west side of South Main Street approximately 475 feet south of
<br /> Warner Avenue, subject to conditions. On motion of Councilman Hubbard, seconded by
<br /> Brewer and carried, Preliminary Record of Survey 250, filed by J. B. and Dan Green-
<br /> berg, was approved, subject to conditions.

<br /> Cw~un.ica{ion was presented from the Planning Department recommending approval of
<br /> Preliminary Record of Survey 251, filed by Croddy Corporation and Wesley Farney,
<br /> dividing a parcel located at the southeast corner of First Street and McClay Street~
<br /> subject to conditions. On motion of Councilman Hubbard, seconded by Brewer and
<br /> carried, Preliminary Record of Survey 251, filed by Croddy Corporation and Wesley
<br /> Farney, was approved, subject to conditions.
