<br />Ccem~unication was presented fr~m the Planuing Department recommending approval of
<br />Preliminary Record of Survey 254, filed by Amos Huntzinger, creating two lots lo-
<br />cated at the northeast corner of Fairview and Harvard Streets, subject to condi-
<br />tions. On motion of Councilman Hubbard, seconded by Brewer and carried, Prelimi-
<br />nary Record of Survey 254, filed by Amos Huntzinger, was approved, subject to
<br />conditions o

<br />On motion of. Councilman Hubbard, seconded by Brewer and carried, Map of Tract 4404,
<br />filed by Harry Tancredi~ for the dedication of Wright Street, Eighteenth Street,
<br />Nineteenth Street, Twentieth Street and Twenty-first Street for public use for high-
<br />way purposes, and also dedicate the easements for drainage purposes as shown, was
<br />approved subject to the Subdivider submitting necessary agreement and bonds in the
<br />amounts required, subject to the approval of the Attorney as to form; License fee
<br />in the sum of $1,750.00 accepted, and agreement covering improvements ordered
<br />signed.

<br />This being the continued action on Preliminary Record of Survey 2~9, filed by
<br />Doxander P. Leonard, creating and combining two lots located about llO0 feet east
<br />of Bristol Street and on the north side of Memory Lane, communication was presented
<br />from the Planning Department recomending approval of Preliminary Record of Survey
<br />249, subject to conditions. Attorney Robert S. Barnes, lO16 North Broadway, stated
<br />the map on file is a variation of the original map reference the location of certain
<br />streets. Regarding Condition "eY, That the subdivider submit street improvement
<br />plans for Memory Lane and Westwood Street~" the Attorney requested the condition to
<br />read "the plans for Westwood Street to be plans for property adjacent to subject
<br />property which is presently owned by the applicant, and the width of the street
<br />not to exceed 50 feet," and requested the elimination of the improvement of West-
<br />wood Street as set forth in Condition "i". Attorney Barnes further requested the
<br />consideration, at this time, of adoption of the Ordinance declaring annexation of
<br />"Memory Lane and Westwood, North Annex," and the Ordinance on Amendment Application
<br />No. 375, filed by D. P. Leonard. On motion of Councilman Heinly, seconded by
<br />Hubbard and carried, Preliminary Record of Survey 249, filed by Doxander P. Leonard,
<br />was approved, subject to the conditions as imposed by the Planning Department, with
<br />Condition "e" modified to read "That the subdivider submit street improvement plans
<br />for Memory Lane and proposed Westwood Street," Condition "i" modified to read
<br />
<br />"That Memory Lane be improved," and the applicant or association of applicants$ con-
<br />tribute to the City the sum of $2,250.00 (which is one-third of the estimated cost
<br />of $7,650.00 for the improvement of Westwood Street from the northerly line of the
<br />applicant's property to Memory Lane) as his share of the improvements of Westwood
<br />Street, said money to be paid upon demand by the City, or prior to utility release
<br />by the Building Department.

<br />The Council having unanimously waived the reading of the Ordinance, on motion of
<br />Councilman Hubbard, seconded by Heinly and carried, the following Ordinance en-
