Communication was presented i <br />frc~ the Planning Department recommending approval of Tentative Tract 4598, filed by <br />Henry C. Cox, creating six residential lots located on the south side of Warner Ave' <br />nue west of and adjacent to the F-2 Orange County Flood Control Channel, subject to <br /> <br />conditions. On motion of Councilman Hubbard, seconded by Brewer and carried, Tenta- <br />tive Tract 4598, filed by Henry C. Cox, was approved subject to conditions. <br /> <br />On motion of CounciLman Heinly, seconded by Hubbard and carried, Map of Tract 4227, <br /> <br />filed by Montgomery Park, for the dedication of Roberts Drive, Figueroa Street, Bew- <br />ley Street, Gunther Street, Jackson Street, Laurel Street and Flight Avenue for pub, <br />lic use for street purposes, Improvement Bond in the sum of $83,500.00 and Monument <br /> <br />Bond in the sum of $735.00 were approved, subject to the approval of the bonds by <br /> <br />the Attorney as to form, and subject to the condition that a Quitclaim Deed be <br /> <br />furnished the Orange County Title Company to be held as Escrow Instructions and a <br />copy to be furnished to the Department of Public Works; License fee in the sum of <br />$4,950.00 accepted and agreement covering improvements ordered signed. <br /> <br />It was moved by' Councilman Hubbard, seconded by Heinly and carried, that escrow in- <br />strUctions be approved and signed for certain properties and with the following <br /> <br />persons: <br /> <br /> Escrow Instructions No. 47316-C, dated February 26, 1962, with Frank and <br /> Elizabeth Monroy, for property for park purposes on the south side of Fruit <br /> Street, east of Mabury Street, in the sum of $99,405.00, and <br /> <br /> Escrow Instructions No. 47387-C, dated February 16, 1962, with J. Wayne <br /> and Kathryn L. Harrison, for street easement on the south side of Warner Ave- <br /> nue, east of Main Street, in the sum of $2,000.00. <br /> <br />On motion of Councilman Hubbard, seconded by Heinly and carried, proper officials <br />were authorized to execute Agreement dated March 5, 1962, with the Pacific Electric <br />Railway Company, in connection with the widening of the Pacific Electric Railroad <br />crossing on Falrvlew Street north of Fifth Street on Gas Tax Project No. 134. <br /> <br />On motion of Coanciiman Heinly, seconded by Hubbard and carried, proper officials <br />were authorized to execute Agreement dated March 5, 1962, with the Pacific Electric <br />Railway Company, in connection with the opening of Susan Street across Pacific <br />Electric Railway.Costa Mesa branch line. <br /> <br />On motion of Councilman Heinly, seconded by Hubbard and carried, proper officials <br />were authorized to execute Agreement dated March 5, 1962, with Anton H. Segerstrom, <br />Nellie R. Segerstrom, Harold T. Segerstrom, Veronica P. SegerStrOm, Harold T. Seger- <br />strom, Jr., Jeanette E. Segerstrom, Henry T. Segerstrom, Yvonne deC. Segerstrom and <br />Ann Segerstrcm, for the extension and improvement of Susan Street, and in order for <br />Susan Street to be extended through the Segerstrom property, said street shall cross <br />the railway tracks owned by the Pacific Electric Railway Com~auy, and that a grade <br />crossing designated as crossing No. 6N-38.79C be constructed across said railway <br />tracks. <br /> <br />The Council having unanimously waived the reading of the Resolution, on motion of <br />Councilman Hubbard, seconded by Heinly and carried, the fo]lowing Resolution en- <br />titled: <br /> <br /> "Resolution No. 62-51 accepting a deed where the City is paying a <br /> cash consideration" <br /> <br />from Frank and Elizabeth Monroy, for real property for park purposes on the south <br />side of Fruit Street, east of Mabury Street, in the sum of $99,405.00, was consider- <br />ed and passed by the following vote: <br /> <br /> <br />
