On motion of Counci]m-n Heinly, seconded by Brewer and carried, the <br />communication was received and filed. <br /> <br />The Council having unanimously waived the reading of the Resolution, on motion of <br />Councilman Heinly, seconded by Brewer and carried, the following ResolutiOn en- <br />titled: <br /> <br /> "Resolution No. 62-62 changing the name of Farmers Drive to <br /> Memory Lane and the name of Acacia Place to Farmers Drive" <br /> <br />was considered and passed by the following vote: <br /> <br />Ayes, Councilmen Henry H. Schlueter, Dale H. Heinly, <br /> Bob Brewer, Royal E. Hubbard <br />Noes, Councilmen None <br />Absent, Councilmen A. A. Hall <br /> <br />Co~m~uication was presented from the Planning C~maission referring for appropriate <br />action, if any, the request of Dean DevRies, Prc~aotion Director of the Honer Plaza <br />Businessmen's Association, for permission to schedule a sky diving event at Honer <br />Plaza Shopping Center this Spring. It was moved by Councilman Heinly and seconded <br />by Schlueter, that the City Council go on record as having no objection to the sky <br />diving event on the condition that they furnish to the City of Santa Ana a policy <br />of public liability insurance, naming the City as the insured, in the minimum <br />amount of $500,000.00. <br /> <br />Roll Call Ayes, Councilmen Henry H. Hall <br /> <br />It was moved by Councilman Heinly, seconded by Schlueter and carried, that the mat- <br />ter be continued until the next meeting and the staff present to the Council an <br />outline of the program for a more ccmTplete understanding. <br /> <br />Reselutie~5541 of the planning Commission was presented, advising the Comm!ssinn <br />is undecided as to whether to request dedication or other conditions involving fee <br />title to the property or payment of drainage assessments, concerning the CD Distri~, <br />and will petition and seek the determination of the Council as to whether or not <br />such assessments or dedications shall be required. It was moved by Councilman <br />Heinly, seconded by Schlueter and carried, that this Council indicate to the Plan- <br />ning C~ission and Planning Department to impose such dedication and conditions <br />as are reasonably related to the property, but that the property owners not be re- <br />quired to pay the drainage assessment. <br /> <br />Communication was presented from the Planning Department recommending approval of <br />Revised Tentative Map Tract ~262, filed by Tricon Development, Inc., adding nine <br />residential lots to the original Tentative Tract 4262, located approximately 1186 <br />feet north of Edinger Avenue on the west side of Euclid Street, subject to condi- <br />tions. Cusaaunication was presented from Voorheis-Trindle-Nelson, Iuc., requesting <br />that Revised Tentative Map Tract 4262 be withdrawn temporarily and no action taken <br />at this time. On motion of Councilman Heinly, seconded by Brewer and carried, the <br />communication from Voorheis-Trindle-Nelson, Inc., was received and filed, and the <br />Tract Map was taken off calendar-as requested. <br /> <br />Councilman Heinly left the meeting at 8:15 P.M. <br /> <br />On motion of Councilman Brewer, seconded by Schlueter and carried, proper officials <br />were authorized to execute Permit with the Orange County Flood Control District, <br />grant{ng authority for the C~ty to install a sewer line within the Santa Ana River <br />right-of-way between Fifth Street and a point 500 feet north of the Pacific Electric <br /> <br /> <br />
