<br /> Street, and inquiring if the City consents or objects to the sale of the property.
<br /> It was moved by Councilman Brewer, seconded by Hubbard and carried, that the Count
<br /> Tax Collector be advised the City Council has no interest in this parcel of proper

<br /> traffic signal at the intersection of Warner Avenue and Flower Street for the
<br /> safety of the school children. On motion of Counc~ ~man Hubbard, seconded by Hein].~
<br /> and carried, the c~onications and petition were received end filed. The Manage:
<br /> reported a study has been made and the intersection meets the requirements for the
<br /> installatic~ of a traffic signal, but m~ is not available in the 1961-62 Budget
<br /> for this installation. Charles Lumbar, 2321 South Ramona Drive, asked if it would
<br /> be possible to use a battery operated light to solve the immediate problem. The
<br /> Manager stated the City has only one piece of this equipment, which is presently in
<br /> use during rush hours and it would not be feasible to use it on an all day basis.
<br /> Mrs. Teske stated the situation has been serious for a year and the children cross
<br /> this intersection to go to the parks and schools. On motion of Councilman Heinly,
