<br />City Council go ca% record with the Metropolitan Water District of Southern Califor-
<br />nia in favor of the construction by that District of the facilities sufficient to
<br />provide softened water in the amounts required by the City frc~ both the East Oran
<br />County Feeder and the East Orange County Feeder No. 2.

<br />mendatien of the Manager, dated March 29, 1962, was approved for salary step in-
<br />creases for seven employees, effective May l, 1962.

<br />On motion of Councilman Hubbard, seconded by Heinly and carried, the Purchasing
<br />Agent was authorized to advertise for bids for the furnishing and delivering of
<br />18,500 lineal feet of fire alarm cable, Specification 634-12; bids to be opened
<br />

<br />On recommendation of the Department of Public Works, and on motion of Councilmen

<br />No. 4025, was ordered released and improvements accepted as cumpleted.
