<br />Hubbard, seconded by Brewer and carried, the letters of protest were received and
<br />filed. Edna Cavette, 13922 Deodar Street, stated there has been no deviation from
<br />the "P" District signs since passage of the new "Zoning Ordinance of 1960," and the
<br />granting of this Variance would set a precedent for more businesses and adve~tis!n
<br />in the "P" zone. Mrs. Reynold Heiser, 13931 Deodar Street, stated extensive im-
<br />provements have been made on many of the homes~ and the owners would not like the
<br />character of the "P"'zOne changed. Mr. E. W. Sullivan, 1939 Tereslta Lane, Newpor
<br />Beach, stated the sign has been carefully located so it would not be seen by the
<br />residents of Deodar Street, except for the possibility of one hc~e which already
<br />backs up to the freeway. It was ~ved by Counci]m~.~ Brewer.and seConded by Hubbax~
