<br /> Church of the Way, to build a retail gasoline station in the R-1 District, at the
<br /> southeast corner of Warner Avenue and Greenville Street, wherein the applicant
<br /> appeals the denial of the Planning C.~,.,~ssi~n. Attorney Robert S. Barnes, lO16
<br /> North Broadway, represeuting the applicant, stated the applicant received Variance
<br /> No. 124l for a church development similar to the development new proposed on C.U.P.
<br /> 102, however, the church proposal could not be finalized and the Variance expired.
<br /> The applicant proposes a two-part development with Variance No. 1631 Proposing a
<br /> gasoline station on the ~.,,ediate southeast corner of th~ property in question,
<br /> C.U.P. 102 proposing a church develol~nent on the remaining portion of the parcel.~

<br /> possible to utilize the entire parcel for a church development, and it would be

<br /> the street, nor with the proposed church, and as the parcel cann~ be utilized en-
<br /> tirely by the church respectfully requested that the Variance be granted. Apprcxi-
<br /> mately 20 church members stood in favor. It was moved by Councilman Hubbard, and
<br /> seconded by Schlueter, that Appeal Application No. 60~ filed by Church of the Way,
<br /> be denied, and the decision of the Planning Cc~m. fssion upheld.

<br />Motion carried. It was moved by Council-~n Heinly, seconded hy Hubbard and

<br />that Appeal Application No. 60 be denied without prejudice.

<br />At the written request of the applicant and on motion of Councilman Heinly, second-
<br />ed by Hubbard and carried, action was continued indefinitely on Preliminary Record
<br />of Survey 258, filed by Desere V. Descamps, proposing to divide a lot at the south-
<br />east corner of McFadden Avenue and Olive Street.

<br />C.m.....unication was presented from the Planning Department recommending approval of
<br />Preliminary Record of Survey 259, filed by Orville Rosebeary, creating four lots
<br />located at the southwest corner of Ninth Street and King Street (l~r. oposed Fairview
<br />Street), subject to conditions. On motion of Counci3~u Hubbard, seconded by
<br />Heinly and carried, Preliminary Record of Survey 259, filed by Orville Rosebeary,
<br />was approved, subject to conditions.
