REL:IZ/9/9Z <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 92- 102 <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE <br />CITY OF SANTA ANA ESTABLISHING THE NUM- <br />BER OF MEMBERS OF THE ENVIRONMENTAL AND <br />TRANSPORTATION ADVISORY COMMITTEE AT <br />SEVEN MEMBERS <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, this Council, by its Resolution No. 73-149, dated <br />December 10, 1973, established the Transportation Advisory <br />Committee; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, this Council, by its Resolution No. 91-112, dated <br />December 2, 1991, renamed the Transportation Advisory Committee as <br />the Environmental and Transportation Advisory Committee and <br />expanded its authority to include environmental issues as well as <br />transportation issues; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, this Council now desires to establish the number of <br />members of the Environmental and Transportation Advisory Committee <br />at seven members; <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY <br />OF SANTA ANA AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br /> 1. The Environmental and Transportation Advisory Committee <br />shall be comprised of seven (7) members who shall be qualified <br />electors of the city. The provisions of sections 901 and 901.1 of <br />the Charter of the City of Santa Ana shall govern the appointment, <br />removal, and terms of members of the Environmental and Transporta- <br />tion Advisory Committee and the existence of vacancies on the <br />Environmental and Transportation Advisory Committee. There is no <br />other restriction on the composition of the membership of the <br />Environmental and Transportation Advisory Committee. <br /> <br /> 2. Except as modified by this resolution, the provisions of <br />Resolutions 73-149 and 91-112 shall continue to apply to the <br />Environmental and Transportation Advisory Committee. <br /> <br /> <br />
