RESOLUTION 94-021 <br /> <br />Facts in SuDport of the Findina <br /> <br />The following mitigation measure has been incorporated in the <br />proposed Plan to reduce the land use impact generated by the <br />General Plan Amendment and zone change to a level of <br />insignificance. <br /> <br />The Planning and Building Agency shall amend the City's <br />General Plan and Zoning Ordinance to SP-2 (Specific Plan No. <br />2), prior to implementing any portion of the North Harbor <br />Boulevard Specific Plan. <br /> <br />LIGHT AND GLARE <br /> <br />Sianificant Effect <br /> <br />The levels of light and glare emitted in the plan and study areas <br />would be similar between existing conditions and after ultimate <br />plan implementation. <br /> <br />Findinq <br /> <br />Findina 1: <br /> <br />Changes or alterations have been required in, or <br />incorporated into, the project which avoid or <br />substantially lessen the significant environmental <br />effect identified in the Final EIR. <br /> <br />Facts in SupDort 'of the Findina <br /> <br />The following mitigation measures have been <br />proposed Plan to reduce the light and glare <br />the Plan to a level of insignificance. <br /> <br />incorporated in the <br />impacts generated by <br /> <br />The City shall utilize the following guidelines and standards <br />contained in the Specific Plan relating to lighting in its <br />review of future redevelopment proposals: <br /> <br />Light fixtures shall be integrated into the overall <br />building design. <br /> <br />be <br /> <br />Ail exterior lighting shall be adequately controlled and <br />shielded to prevent glare and undesirable illumination of <br />adjacent properties and streets. <br /> <br />High intensity security lighting <br />substituted for site landscape <br />building exterior illumination. <br /> <br />fixtures shall not be <br />lighting or general <br /> <br />The Planning and Building Agency shall review all future <br />proposals on a project-by-project basis and ensure that said <br />proposal is in conformance with the lighting standards and <br />guidelines contained in the Specific Plan and Building <br /> <br />14 <br /> <br /> <br />
