RESOLUTION 94-021 379 <br /> <br />Security Ordinance 8-10, 8-211 of the Santa Ana Municipal <br />Code. <br /> <br />PUBLIC SERVICES AND UTILITIES <br /> <br />Police Services <br /> <br />Sianificant Effect <br /> <br />With an increase in commercial and residential density, demand for <br />police services will increase. <br /> <br />Findina <br /> <br />Findinq %: <br /> <br />Changes or alterations have been required in, or <br />incorporated into, the project which avoid or <br />substantially lessen the significant environmental <br />effect identified in the Final EIR. <br /> <br />Facts in supDort of the Findina <br /> <br />The following mitigation measure has been incorporated in the <br />proposed Plan to reduce the police service~impacts generated by the <br />Plan to a level of insignificance. <br /> <br />Since increased development may result in an increase in <br />emergency and non-emergency police calls, the following <br />mitigation measures shall be implemented for new development: <br /> <br />a) Ail commercial and industrial structures shall be <br /> designed with adequate police patrol and emergency <br /> vehicle access from all sides. <br /> <br />b) <br /> <br />Lighting design in and around individual commercial, <br />residential and industrial developments shall facilitate <br />visibility into the site by patrol vehicles and emergency <br />response vehicles. <br /> <br />¢) <br /> <br />Ail new structures and parking lots shall comply with the <br />provisions of Chapter 8, Article II, Division 3 of the <br />Santa Ana Municipal Code (Building Security <br />Ordinance). <br /> <br />Schools <br /> <br />significant Effect <br /> <br />Public schools will have approximately 246 new students. <br /> <br />Findina <br /> <br />Findin= 1: <br /> <br />Changes or alterations have been required in, or <br /> <br /> <br />
