RESOLUTION 94-021 <br /> <br />Facts in Support of the Findin~ <br /> <br />Implementation of the following mitigation measure, which has been <br />incorporated into the proposed Plan, will substantially reduce <br />erosion effects to a level of insignificance. <br /> <br />Prior to any site preparation, the applicant shall obtain a <br />grading permit from the Building Agency and the Public Works <br />Agency in accordance with applicable ordinances of the City. <br /> <br />Significant Effect <br /> <br />The Plan area may be subject to ground shaking in the event of <br />seismic activity along regular fault zones. <br /> <br />Finding <br /> <br />Finding i: <br /> <br />Changes or alterations have been required in, or <br />incorporated into, the project which avoid or <br />substantially lessen the significant environmental <br />effect identified in the Final EIR. <br /> <br />Facts in SumDort of the Findinq <br /> <br />Implementation of the following mitigation measure, which has been <br />incorporated into the proposed Plan, will substantially reduce <br />ground shaking effects to a level of insignificance. <br /> <br />In order to ensure maximum structural safety in the event of <br />an earthquake, all structures shall be constructed in <br />accordance with the seismic requirements of the Uniform <br />Building Code, subject to the review of the Building Agency. <br /> <br />Significant Effect <br /> <br />Sandy soils with high groundwater may result in liquefaction and <br />subsidence during a severe earthquake. <br /> <br />Finding <br /> <br />Finding 1: <br /> <br />Changes or alterations have been required in, or <br />incorporated into, the project which avoid or <br />substantially lessen the significant environmental <br />effect identified in the Final EIR. <br /> <br />Facts in Support of the Findinq <br /> <br />Implementation of the following mitigation measure, which has been <br />incorporated into the proposed Plan, will substantially reduce <br />liquefaction and subsidence effects to a level of insignificance. <br /> <br />1.
