H~RING <br />AMEIfD. APPL. 409 <br />CA-42 <br /> <br />The hearing was opened on Amendment Application No. 409 filed by Wilfred H. Chartton <br />requesting an amendment of Sectional District Map 18-5-9 reclassifying property gener- <br />ally bounded by the Southern Pacific Railroad right of way, Grant Street, the present <br />street stub of Bishop, and Camile Street frc~ the M-1 District to the R-4 District. <br />Council heard testimony from Wilfred H. Charlton, 8811 Coast Highway, Laguna Beach~ <br />applicant. A letter and petition signed by 14 adjacent industrial users~ expressing <br />approval of the rezoning~ were received and ordered filed, on motion of Councilman Hub- <br />bard, seconded by Councilman Schlueter and carried. There being no further testimony, <br />the hearing was closed. On motion of Councilman Hubbard, seconded by CounciLman <br />Schlueter and carried, an Ordinance approving Amendment Application No. 409-A was passel <br /> <br />to second reading without further reading. <br /> <br />HEARING <br />ANNEXATION <br />SA~£A CLARA & <br />DEODAR S. ANNEX <br />Reso. 62-183 <br />Ord. No-O0b <br />CA-94 <br /> <br />This being the date set for hearing on annexation of territory designated "Santa Clara <br />and Deodar S. Annex" the Mayor asked if there were any persons desiring to be heard <br />regarding the annexation. There being none~ the hearing was closed. <br /> <br />Mayor Hall introduced by title "RESOLUTION NO. 62-183 DECLARING THAT A MAJORITY PRO- <br />TEST HAS NOT BEEN MADE AGAINST TN]~ANNEXATION OF TERRITORY UNDER THENAME OF 'SANTA <br />CLARA AND DEODAR S. ANNEX'". It was moved by Councilman Hubbard, seconded by Council- <br />man Schlueter~ that further reading be w~ived and Resolution 62-183 be adopted. E. ANNEX <br />RESOi 62-184 <br />Ord. NS-605 <br />CA-94 <br /> <br />This being the date set for hearing on annexation of territory designated "Fairhaven <br />and Grand S. E. Annex" the Mayor asked if there were any persons present desiring to <br />be heard regarding the annexation. No one came forward, and the hearing was closed. <br /> <br />The Council having unanimously waived the reading of the Ordinance, on motion of Council- <br />man Hubbard, seconded by Brewer and carried, the following Resolution entitled "RESO- <br />LUTION NO. 62-184 ~E~IARING THAT A ~JORITY PROTEST HAS NOT BEEN MADE AGAINST THE <br />ANNEXATION OF TERRITORY UNDER THE NAME OF 'FAIRHAVENAND GRAND S. E.
