On motion of Councilm-u Hubbard, seconded by Councilman Schlueter and carried, Council received and ordered filed the annexation petition and Clerk's Certifi- cate of Sufficiency for the Harbor and RESOLUTION NO~ 63-25 DECLARING INTENTION TO CALL A SPECIAL ELECTION IN THAT CERTAIN TERRITORY H~JeEIN DESIGNATED "HARBOR AND EDINGER EAST ANNEXATION" TO SUBMIT THE QUESTION OF ANNEXATIONTO THE CITY OF SANTA ANA TO THE ~.RC. TORS RESIDING IN SAID T~tRITORYAND GMNG NOTICE OF THE DAY, HOUBAND PLACE FOR PROPERTY OWNerS TO SHOW CAUSE WHY SAID TERRITORY SHOULD NOT BEANNEXED, was introduced by title° It was m~ved by Councilman Hubbard, seconded by Council- man Brewer, that further reading be waived and Resolution No. 63-25 be adopted. ASSESSMENT DIST. 228 On motion of Councf~m-n Brewer, seconded by Counc~lm-~ Hubbard and carried, Council received and approved a petition for street improvements on Sullivan Street between McFadden and Wilshire, and on McFadden east of Sullivan, and the Public Works Director's Report that 54.78per cent of the total land area is represented; and authorized the preparation of plans and specifications. BLOCK WALL REQU~ It was moved by Councilman Brewer, seconded by Councilman Schlueter and carried, that the communication from Joseph Ac Mueller relative to height of block wall between single family dwellings and apartment development at northeast co2ner of Grand and Washington Place be referred to the Building and Planning Departments for necessary action to require compliance with the conditions of the Variance. AUCTION On motion of Councilman Brewer, seconded by Councilman Schlueter and carried, Council approved request filed by David Weisz Company to conduct a one-day auction sale at Murray Ramon's Town House on February ll, 1963 to sell furniture and fixtures. CHANGE ORDER - PROJECT S-33 sewer at Seventeenth and Deodar° On motion of Coumei]m-n Hubbard, seconded by Counei]m~n Brewer, and carried, Council approved Change Order No. i for $857.28 on Project S-33, construction of RECORD OF SURVEY 295 On motion of Councilman Hubbard, seconded by Councilman Brewer, and carried, Council approved Record of Survey 295 filed by Margaret Hall to create two lots on the west side of Standard, south of Edinger, subject to the conditions outlined in the Planning Director's report dated January 30~ 1963o City Council - 31 - February 4~ 1963
