RESOLUTION NO. 96-007 <br />Page 5 <br /> <br /> i. That Subsection 6.7 is hereby amended to add the following <br />new second paragraph: <br /> <br />"6.7 Paid Holiday Time Off. <br /> <br /> Personnel in the classification of Fire Battalion Chief (MM) <br />assigned to the 24 hour work shift schedule shall be entitled to <br />receive twelve (12) working days off during the calendar year in <br />lieu of holiday benefits. Employees in this classification will be <br />given an option once per calendar year to receive cash compensation <br />computed on a straight time basis in lieu of all or part of their <br />holiday leave benefit." <br /> <br /> jo That Subsection 6.11 is hereby amended by adding the <br />following new second paragraph: <br /> <br />"6.11 Payment for Unused Sick Leave. <br /> <br /> A lump sum payment shall be made to the beneficiaries of the <br />current (as of November 1, 1995) employee in the classification of <br />Fire Battalion Chief (MM), whose death occurs while such employee <br />is an active employee of the City. Such payments are to be equal <br />to what would be credited to the employee's account at the time of <br />his or her death and at the rate of pay effective on the date of <br />death." <br /> <br /> k. That Section 6 Employee Benefits, as amended, is hereby <br />further amended to add a new Subsection 14 to read as follows: <br /> <br /> "6.14 Industrial Leave. Employees hired after July 1, 1987 in <br />the classification of Fire Battalion Chief (MM) will not have an <br />option to defer his or her disability retirement date until after <br />all accrued sick leave has been exhausted. Such employees, <br />however, shall be able to receive a lump sum cash payment for any <br />unused sick leave as provided to other represented units and as <br />specified in Subsection 6.11 of this resolution." <br /> <br /> 1. That Section 6. Employee Benefits, as amended, is hereby <br />further amended to add a new Subsection 20 to read as follows: <br /> <br /> "6.20 Catastrophic Leave Donation. Affected employees shall <br />be eligible to donate and receive catastrophic leave donations as <br />provided to other represented "miscellaneous" general service <br />employees." <br /> <br /> m. That the first paragraph of Section 7. Manaqement <br />Performance Based Evaluation System is hereby amended to read as <br />follows: <br /> <br /> <br />
