5 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 98-003 <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE <br />CITY OF SANTA ANA AMENDING RESOLUTION <br />NO. 91-043, TO MAKE CERTAIN MODIFICATIONS <br />IN THE REGULATIONS PERTAINING TO THE <br />WILLARD PERMIT PARKING DISTRICT <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Santa Ana, by <br />its Resolution No. 91-020, dated February 19, 1991, <br />established the Willard Permit Parking District and the <br />regulations pertaining thereto; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the city Council of the City of Santa Ana, by <br />its Resolution No. 91-043, dated June 3, 1991, amended the <br />Willard Permit Parking District and the regulations <br />pertaining thereto; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the Council does now desire to make certain <br />changes in those regulations; <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF <br />THE CITY OF'SANTA ANA that section 5 of Resolution No. 91-043 <br />is hereby amended, to read as follows: <br /> <br /> 5. Persons entitled to a permit to park in locations <br />subject to permit parking restrictions pursuant to this <br />resolution include and are limited to the following: <br /> <br /> (a) Any person who is licensed to drive a motor <br />vehicle and who resides in a single-family dwelling located <br />within the Willard Permit Parking District, provided that not <br />more than two permits may be issued at any one time to the <br />residents of any one dwelling unit. <br /> <br /> (b) Any person who is licensed to drive a motor <br />vehicle and who resides in a multi-family dwelling complex of <br />no more than eight units per building, located within the <br />Willard Permit Parking District, provided that not more than <br />one permit may be issued at any one time to the residents of <br />any one dwelling unit. <br /> <br /> (c) Any person who is licensed to drive a motor <br />vehicle and who resides in a low income rental housing <br />project located within the Willard Permit Parking District <br />which has received federal financial assistance or subsidy <br />through the FHA Mortgage Assistance Program or the "Section <br />8" new construction program, provided such project continues <br />to provide housing which is affordable to persons of low <br />income, and provided further that not more than one permit <br />may be issued at any one time to the residents of any one <br />dwelling unit. <br /> <br /> <br />
