RESOLUTION NO. 63-57 ACCEPTING A NEW DEED FR0~ CLARA L. SC~0CK AND AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF A QUITCLAIM DEED FROM THE CITY OF SANTA ANA TO CLARA L. SCHOCK TO CORRECT ERROR IN DESCRIPTION ON D~.n. ACC~J~A'ED BY RESOLUTION NO. 62-200, AND AO~PTIN~ A DEED FROM LIZZIE M. EIghT, ALL WZTa NO CASH CONSIE~ATION, was introduced by title. AGRE~ITS On motion of Counc~ ~ m., Hubbard, SIGN ENCROACHMENTS seconded by Counci]mnn Schlueter and carried, Council authorized execution of agreements to remove encroachments from setback areas with the following: Alene' s Hair Fashion MacPherson & Faris style Champion Homes 1913 Wo 17th Street 3321 W. 1st Street 4110 Wo McFadden AGRE~mIT - LEASE On motion of Counc~]m~n Hubbard, STATE OF CALIFO~--zA seconded by Counc~lm~n Schlueter and carried, Council authorized the proper authority to execute an amendment to a lease with the State of California for property at 701 North Flower. R~.wASE OF FUNDS On motion of Councilmen Hubbard, HOD(ES BDILDING seconded by Counc~lm~u Schlueter CORPORATION and carried, Council authorized release of funds in the ,mount of $20,600 to the Hodges Building Corporation, and that the remaining $1,800 on deposit be held in a trust fund until the City can complete the improvements in conjunction with a future storm drain project. CLAIM FOR DAMAGES Council heard an oral report from DRIGG~S the City Attorney recommending that the claim of Joseph E. Driggers be denied since the City was not in- volved. On motion of Councllm-n Hubbard, seconded by COunCilma~ Schlueter and carried, Council denied the claim. TRAFFIC CONTROLS SULLIVAN STR~.'
