121 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. <br />Page 4 <br /> <br />98- 018 <br /> <br />to read as follows: <br /> <br /> "3. Z-ratinq. A Z-rate is a special salary rate established <br />by the City Manager which allows an employee who has voluntarily <br />demoted, or has been reclassified for non disciplinary reasons, to <br />be paid at a rate of pay higher than that assigned to his or her <br />reclassified position title for a specified transition time <br />period." <br /> <br /> 6. That Section 3 of Resolution No. 91-066, as amended, is <br />hereby further amended by deleting the following vacant and now <br />obsolete classification titles: <br /> <br />Assistant Fire Marshal (MM) <br />Real Estate Services Manager (MM) <br /> <br /> 7. That Section 5 of Resolution No. 91-066, as amended, is <br />hereby further amended by adding subsection 5.14 to read as <br />follows: <br /> <br /> "5.14 Z-Rating. A Z-rate is a special salary rate <br />established by the City Manager which allows an employee who has <br />voluntarily demoted, or has been reclassified for non disciplinary <br />reasons, to be paid at a rate of pay higher than that assigned to <br />his or her reclassified position title for a specified transition <br />time period." <br /> <br /> 8. That Section 3 of Resolution No. 96-095, as amended, is <br />hereby further amended by: <br /> <br /> a. adding, in alphabetical sequence, the following <br />classification titles at the monthly salary rate ranges indicated: <br /> <br />5-Step Salary Rate Ranqe (A-E) Effective 7-1-98 <br /> <br />Class Title <br /> <br />No. (Min-Max) <br /> <br />Applications Systems Manager <br />Fire Communications Manager <br />Police Systems Manager <br /> <br />AM673 $5569-6768 <br />AM628 $4470-5434 <br />AM673 $5569-6768 <br /> <br /> b. designating the newly created classification titles of <br />Applications Systems Manager, Fire Communications Manager, and Police <br />Systems Manager as Administrative Management by assigning the <br />parenthetical identifier "(AM)" after each of these class titles. <br /> <br /> 9. That Section 5 of Resolution No. 96-095, as amended, is hereby <br />further amended by adding subsection 5.15 to read as follows: <br /> <br /> <br />
