HEARING - AMEND. Mayor Hall opened the hearing on Amend- <br />APP. 453 ment Application 453 filed by Albert <br />HASSON Hasson to reclassify from the R-2 to <br /> the R-3 District property on the east <br />side of Sycamore between St. Andrew Street and Cummercial Street. Planning <br />Cummission Resolution 5639 recommended denial of applicant's proposal. <br /> <br />The Clerk reported that notice of the hearing was published in The Register on <br />July 20, 1963, and that no written cce~unications or objections had been received. <br />There being no response to the MAyor's call for testimony, the hearing was closed. <br /> <br />On motion of Councilm~n Hubbard, seconded by Councilman Schlueter and carried, <br />Council denied the request for reclassification. <br /> <br />HEARING - AMEND. Mayor Hall opened the hearing on <br />~APP. 455 Amendment Application 455 filed by <br />CAVANAUGH Richard Cavanaugh to reclassify from <br /> the R-3 H to the P District property <br /> on the north side of First Street between Tustin Avenue and the Santa Aha Free- <br /> way. Planning Commission recommended approval. <br /> <br />The Clerk reported that notice of the hearing was published in The Register on <br />July 13, 1963, and that no written communications or objections had been <br />received. There being no response to the Mayor's call for testimony, the hear- <br />ingwas closed. <br /> <br />It was moved by Councilman Hubbard, seconded by Councilman Gilmore and carried, <br />that Council approve the reclassification and instruct the City Attorney to <br />prepare an amending ordinance according to Exhibit 455-A. <br /> <br />HEARING - AM~ZrD. Mayor Hall opened the hearing on Amend- <br />HOLTzAPP--456 ment Application 456 filed by Alhan <br /> Holtz to reclassify from the R-2 to <br /> the C-5 District property on the north <br />side of 17th Street between Valencia and Poinsettia. <br /> <br />The Clerk reported that notice of the hearing was published in The Register on <br />July 13, 1963, and that no written communications or objections had been received. <br /> <br />Frank ~ntick, 13121 Westminster, asked that the classification be changed as <br />rec~ended by the Planning C~.....ission. The City Manager commented that most <br />of this property is needed by the State of California for freeway construction. <br />There being no further testimony, the hearing was closed. <br /> <br />It was moved by CouncilmaB Hubbard, seconded by Councilman Harvey and carried, <br />thatthe Council approve the reclassification and instruct the City Attorney to <br />prepare an amending ordinance according to Exhibit AA 456-B. <br /> <br />HEARING - AMEND.
