T~e Manager <br />explained the time lapse between approval by the City Council of a name <br />change and the ordering and placing of new signs. <br /> <br />DAMAGE CLAIM On motion of Councilm~n Hubbard, <br /> seconded by Councilman Schlueter and <br /> carried~ Council received and denied <br /> a claim filed by C. S. Burrow of <br />B~rrow Escrow Company for repair to storage department in the amount of <br />$10.O0, allegedly caused by police entry, acting upon the recommendatic~ <br />of the City Manager who reported that the police had no record of the <br />incident. <br /> <br />BOND RELEASE On motion of Councilman Hubbard, <br /> seconded by Councilman Schlueter and <br /> carried, Council authorized release <br /> of bond filed by Justin Realty Company <br />for improvements on Fairview and OldTalbert Avenue under Preliminary Record <br />of Survey 219. <br /> <br />AUCTION REQUESTS On motion of Councilman Hubbard, <br /> seconded by Councilman Harvey and <br /> carried, Council approved the application <br /> filed by Rouse and Son, to conduct a <br />public auction on behalf of United States Equipment. Rental, Inc., at 12~ <br />N. Harbor Boulevard on January 30, 196~; and application filed~by Phil Hanson <br />for sale of restaurant equipment February 5, 1964 at 838 E.
