On motion of' Councilman Hubbard, <br />seconded by Councilman Harvey and <br />carried, Council accepted improve- <br />ments and authorized release of bond <br />for Tract 4745 (north of Washington and east of Bewley), on recomendation of <br />the Public Works Director. <br /> <br />CLAIM On motion of Councilman Hubbard, <br /> seconded by CounciLman Harvey and <br /> carried, Council denied a claim <br /> filed by Ray L. Morris, 1521 N. <br />Rosewood in the amount of 950.00 for cleaning his property of weeds, etc., <br />blown from vacant lot on 17th Street, and received and ordered filed his sub- <br />sequent letter that the lot had been cleaned. <br /> <br /> On motion of Councilman Hubbard, <br /> seconded by 0ounc~lm~ Harvey and <br /> carried, Council denied as recommended <br /> by the City Attorney, the following <br /> cls ~*~.~: <br /> <br />Stecklein, $250, regardin~ injury frc~ fall on side~alk. <br />Doner, $25,000 plus medical expenses end loss of wages, <br /> regarding i~all at Municipal Stadium. <br />Tru~illo, $50,195, regarding injury from fireworks. <br />Comacho, $151,3~9.80, regarding injury from fireworks. <br /> <br />S~RPLUS PROPERTY On motion of Councilman Hubbard, <br /> seconded by Councilman Schlueter <br /> and carried, Council declared one <br /> story frame and stucco firehouse <br />at 1314 W. 3rd Street as surplus property and authorized the City Manager to <br />arrange for its demolition. <br /> <br />HEARING - AMEi~D.
