RFP 01-042 <br /> <br />3.0 CONSULTANT TASK LIST <br /> <br />The consultant shall perform the following tasks <br /> <br />3.1 Task 1 - Program analysis <br /> <br />3.1.1 Meet with City staff to review existing assumptions and the <br /> following project objectives <br /> <br /> Increase main electrical service panel capacity to allow for <br /> current and future electrical demands <br />· Upgrade existing stand-by generator and automatic transfer <br /> switch to match new load requirements <br />· Upgrade subpanel serving kitchen, garage, shop, living quarters <br /> and apparatus room, providing for additional use of computers <br /> and other harmonic producing equipment <br />· Increase number of power outlets in areas of high electrical <br /> utilization <br /> Design station lighting improvements for the apparatus rooms, <br /> kitchens, and meeting areas per Title 24 guidelines <br /> <br />3.1.2 Assess all existing conditions. Obtain the following information <br /> from the City and other appropriate agencies where applicable. <br /> <br />Existing building sites and other available building plans <br />Design criteria, standards, processing requirements and <br />construction procedures from agencies having jurisdiction <br /> <br />3.2 Task 2 - Design Development <br /> <br />3.2.1 <br /> <br />Meet with City staff to review Consultant's assessment and <br />recormnended approach to the final design. Based on agreed <br />program, Consultant shall proceed with design. <br /> <br />6 <br /> <br /> <br />
