Because of conflict of interest, Councilman Brooks left the Council table <br />during action on the following: <br /> <br />On motion of Councilm~n Burk, seconded by Councilman Griset and carried, <br />Council ordered filed: <br /> <br />VA 67-26, FRANKLIN - erect 2' x 6' double faced electric sign <br />at height of 6' above grate at 2100 N. Standard, On Sale Beer, Person Transfer; <br />Canale & Cella, 14~0 W. 1st, Off Sale General, Person Transfer. <br /> <br />SURPLUS PROPERTY On motion of Coancilma~ Brooks, seconded <br /> by Co~l~cilmau Burk and carried, the <br /> reccmmendation of the City Manager regarding <br />the surplus property at 8th and Bristol was approved, setting a minimum price <br />of$~5,000 and setting date of sale for the Council meeting of May 15, 1967. <br /> <br />BRANCH LIBRARIES Responding to Councilman. Tht~rman's <br /> question~ the City Manager reported that <br /> money for purchase of property for <br />branch libraries was in the reco~nended Budget for 1965-66, and that Council <br />had taken it out and put it in contingency reserve; that action on 1966-67 <br />recommendation was held over to Nay 1st meeting. <br /> <br />STATE ~.w~ISLATION.
