Followf-g the Pledge of Allegiance to the Flag, the Invocation was delivered by Captian T~n Cisar of the Salvation Army. AMEND. APP. 600 - Cf ~ ¥~/ Rearing was opened on Amendment H~BLE OIL Application 600 filed by N~ble Oil and Refining Company proPOsing the amendment of Sectional District Map 25-5-10 to reclassify parcel at southwest corner of Dyer Road and Maim Street fr~a the CR District to the 05 District. Planning Commission Resolution 5803 recc~aended approval. The Clerk reported notice of hearing published in The Register April 1, with affidavit on file, an~ no communications received. There Being no response to call for testimony, the hearing was closed. It was ~ved By Councilman Brooks, seconded hy Counci~=*u ~mrk and carried, that Council approve the reclassification and instruct the City Attorney to prepare an amending ord~_~ance according to Exhibit A. ~v. APP. 601 - C~ q t ~earing was opened on Amendment PLANNING CO~ISSIO]~ Application 601 initiated By the Planning Commission proposing amendment of Sectional District Map 26-~-10 to reclassify property on the north side of Adams Between Raitt Street and the Flood Control Channel fr~a the A1 to the Ri District. Planning Commission Resolution rec~nded a~proval. The Clerk reported notice of hearing published in the RegiSter April 1, with affidavit on file, and no c~ications received. There Being no response to call for testimony, the hearing was closed. Tt was ~oved by Council=au Burk, seconded by Counc~-~n ~arhel and carried, that Council approve the reclassification and instruct the City Attorney to prepare an a~ending ordinance according to ExhiBit A. TAXICAB APPEAL 2~ At the regular aeeting of April B, 1967, a hearing was held on the appeal filed By Arlin M. Fuller from the Police Chief's denial of per, it to operate a taxicab; at that time the ~atter was referred to the staff for further report. After hearing the City ;~anager report that as of April 1~, the State Division of Drivers Licenses in Sacramento stated and confirmed that Mr. Fuller's driver's license is still suspended, the appeal was denied, on action of Councilman Markel, seconded by Councilman Thurman and carried.
