STOP SIGN REQUEST C~ ho The staff report re6arding petition <br /> with approximately 492 signatures <br /> requesting stop sign at Main St. <br />northbound off-ramp leading onto Bush sro (postponed ll/6 for completion <br />of study) was considered by the Council. Mr. Fred Morse and Mrs° Wilson, <br />both residents of Bush Street, spoke for the petitioners° The Buhlic <br />Works Director explained the reasons the staff felt that there is not <br />an appreciable hazard at the present time. <br /> <br />After discussion of the problem at sOme length by Council, it was moved <br />by Councilman Carlson, seconded by Councilman Nerrin and carried, that <br />the request of the peitioners be granted to replace the stop sign on the <br />off-ramp and that the staff come back with a report at a later date <br />regarding disposition of the stop on Santa Clara° <br /> <br />FINAL MAP - TRACT 6501 ~ ~ Final Tract Map 6501, filed by <br /> Parkwood HOmes, creating 52 lots <br /> north of 17th, west of Tmstin, was <br />approved, dedications thereon accepted, and execution of subdivision <br />agreement authorized, on motion of Councilman Herrin, seconded by Council- <br />man M~rkel and carried. <br /> <br />SOLICITATION APPLICATIONS <br /> <br />applications <br /> <br />On motion of Councilm~u Brooks, seconded <br />by Councilman Markel and carried, Council <br />approved the following solicitation <br /> <br />Orange County Association for Retarded Children, annual campaign, <br />11/1/67 - 12/15/67 <br />American Christian Crusade, soliciting funds, 12/1/67 - 2/1/68; . <br />Care for a Child, Iac., carmisters in stores, 11/15/67 - 1/15/68~ <br />Seventh-Day Adventist Church, caroling an~ house-to-house soliciting, <br />11/25/67 - <br />Parent Involvement Council, Benefit Dance, Letters & Stickers, <br />n/zT/67 - <br /> <br />APPLICATION TO USE <br />PUBLIC PROPERTY <br /> <br />by Sophia M.
