Any employee request for classification review approved by the Department Head <br />will be forwarded to the Executive Director of Personnel Services. The Executive <br />Director of Personnel Services will confirm receipt of the request in writing to the <br />employee. Within sixty (60) days of receipt of the request, the Executive Director <br />of Personnel Services will notify the employee and Department Head of the decision <br />as to whether a study will be conducted. If the Executive Director of Personnel <br />Services determines that a study is appropriate, the Executive Director of Personnel <br />Services will so notify the employee and the Department Head in writing and will <br />provide the employee and Department Head with an approximate start date for the <br />study. <br /> <br />All determinations of the Department Head and the Executive Director of Personnel <br />Services are final. <br /> <br />All studies and study findings will require City Manager approval before proceeding. <br /> <br />All recommendations resulting from study findings require the approval of the City <br />Council and will be implemented in accordance to the City's Civil Service rules. <br /> <br />14 <br /> <br /> <br />
