<br />Mr. Somerville has more than 15 years experience in the
<br />geometric design of roadways, storm drains, sewers and
<br />water lines, pavements, on-site facilities relating to grading
<br />and drainage, hydrology and hydraulics, traffic patterns,
<br />street lighting systems and traffic signals, and parking
<br />layouts. His experience also includes production of fea-
<br />sibility studies, plans, specifications and estimates, com-
<br />puter aided design in AutoCAD and Microstation, preparation
<br />of right-of-way maps, acquiring permits to enter and
<br />construct, preparation of stage construction plans, and
<br />construction support services which includes field engi-
<br />neering, RFI and submittal review, and claims analysis.
<br />Mr. Somerville began his career with the City of Fullerton
<br />and thoroughly understands agency processes, project
<br />finance, and needs analysis, as well as technical and
<br />contractual requirements in the design and construction
<br />of projects.

<br />Capital Improvement Program, City of Tustin, Cali-
<br />fornia: Project Engineer for the City of Tustin for
<br />management of major transportation projects. Projects
<br />
<br />wtuled over $36 million in construction and included
<br />Edinger Avenue Widening, Newport Avenue / SR55 Ramp
<br />Reconfigurafion, Newport Avenue Bridge at Edinger and
<br />Tustin Ranch Road Bridge at Edinger. Work scope consisted
<br />of management of design consultants and tracking of
<br />project budgets and schedule. Coordinated issues in all
<br />phases of the project including environmental, right of
<br />way issues, design and construction. Responsible for
<br />approving consultant invoices and change orders as well
<br />as preparing City Council agenda items.
<br />
<br />On-Call Engineering Services, City of Santa Aha,
<br />California: Principal Engineer working as an extension
<br />of City staff to provide engineering services in support
<br />of the City's Capital lmprovemeat Program. Projects
<br />have an estimated construction value of $2 million and
<br />have included First Street Rehabilitation, Traffic Controls
<br />Plans for Bristol and McFadden, Studies, Evaluations and
<br />Reports for several projects throughout the City, and
<br />Building Improvements at Thornton Park.

<br />Arterial Street Reconstruction, City of Fullerton,
<br />California: Project Engineer on this multi-year Capital
<br />Improvement Program for the City. Work effort included
<br />identifying arterial streets in need of rehabilitation and
<br />providing PS&E for approximately two miles of arterial
<br />streets per year. Several methods of reconstruction were
