TENTATIVE TRACT 6678 Tentative Tract Map 6678, filed by <br /> Kavanaugh and Beard Development <br /> Company creating 37 lots north of <br />Santa Clara, east of Tustin, was approved subject to conditions in Planning <br />Director's report dated November 5, 1968, on motion of Councilman Griset, <br />seconded by Councilman Herrin and carried. <br /> <br />SURPLUS BUILDING After considering Surplus Property <br /> Report 32-68 regarding residence at <br /> 1702 North Bush, Council declared the <br />building surplus and authorized its demolition, on motion of Councilman <br />Herrin, seconded by Councilman Griset and carried. Councilman Markel <br />voted "No". <br /> <br />PARK NAME The recommendation of the Board of <br /> Recreation and Parks that the small park <br /> on Myrtle Street be named Friendship <br />Mini-Park was approved, on motion of Councilman Herrin, seconded by Council- <br />man Brooks and carried. <br /> <br />PARCEL MAP 581 Parcel Map 581, filed by Harold T. <br /> Segerstrom, creating four lots on the <br /> east side of Harbor between Talbert and <br />Segerstrom, was approved subject to conditions in Planning Director's report <br />dated November 27, 1968, and alley requirement was waived, on motion of <br />Councilman Griset, seconded by Councilman Markel and carried. <br /> <br />AIRPORT Council considered a letter from Clifford <br /> L. Fraizer regarding minimum landing <br /> standards for the Orange County Airport. <br />Mr. Fraizer explained to Council that he would like fox them to take some action <br />to raise the minimum requirement for instrument landings ~to 500 foot ceiling <br />and one mile visibility. After discussion, it was moved by Councilman Griset, <br />seconded by Councilman Herrin and carried, to refer the matter to the <br />Director of Aviation at the Orange County Airport for his comments and <br />recommendation of the Airport Commission. <br /> <br />SEWER CONTRACT The City Attorney reported to Council <br />MAIN/17TH/WASHINGTON that a hold placed on Faithful Performan ce <br />FAR WESTERN PIPELINE, INC. Bond for Contract No. 1-8, construction <br /> of Main Street Trunk Sewer, Seventeenth <br />Street Subtrunk Sewer and Washington Avenue Subtrunk Sewer, has now been <br />released by the Public Works Department and recommende, d'~exoneration' ~f <br />the bond filed by Far Western Pipeline, Inc. <br /> <br />On motion of Councilman Griset, seconded by Councilman Brooks and carried, <br />Council authorized exoneration of Glens Falls Insurance Company Bond <br />98 95 43. <br /> <br />CITY COUNCIL <br /> <br />74 <br /> <br />December 2, 1968 <br /> <br /> <br />
