RECESS At 5:20 P. M., the meeting was recessed <br /> To 7:30 P.M.· at which time it was re- <br /> convened with all Council members <br />present. Following the Pledge of Allegiance to the Flag, the revocation was <br />delivered by the Reverend Bennie Flint of the First Baptist Church of Santa Aha. <br /> <br />Due to a conflict of interest, Councilman Griset left the Council Chambers before <br />consideration of the next item. <br /> <br />PUBLIC HEARING Hearing was opened on Amendment <br />AMENDMENT APPLICATION 640 Application 640, filed by Francis E. <br />GRISET Griset, to amend Sectional District <br /> Maps 25-5-10 and 36-5-10 by rezoning <br />property on the east side of Bristol and north and south of proposed MacArthur <br />Boulevard from the A 1 to the R 1, R 4 and C 5 Districts. Frank Bueche, <br />represeating the applicant, was present and explained the Planning Commission's <br />decision was satisfactory to applicant. There being no further testimony, the <br />hearing was closed. <br /> <br />On motion of Councilman Herrin, seconded by Councilman Brooks and carried· <br />Amendment Application 640 was approved and the City Attorney was instructed <br />to prepare an ordinance to reclassify the property according to Exhibit "B" <br />which would reclassify to the R 1, R 4 and CR Districts. <br /> <br />Councilman Griset returned to the Council table. <br /> <br />PUBLIC HEARING Hearing was opened on Amendment <br />AMENDMENT APPLICATION 641 Application 641, filed by Douglas <br />CORRIGAN Corrigan, to rezone property on the <br /> south side of Orange Road east of ~Vestwood <br />Avenue from the A 1 to the R 1 District. There being no'response to the call for <br />testimony, the hearing was closed. <br /> <br />On motion of Councilman Brooks, seconded by Councilman Hsrrin and carrzed, <br />Amendment Apl~lication 641 was approvsd and the City Attorney was instructed <br />to prepare an ordinance to reclassify the property according tc Exhibit A. <br /> <br />PUBLIC HEARING Hearing was opened on Amendment <br />AMENDMENT APPLICATION 642 Application 6zt2, filed by Santa Ana Propertie~, <br />SANTA ANA PROPERTIES ' to rezone property on the north side of <br /> Fourth Street east of the Santa Ana Freeway <br />from the R 1 to the P District.
