Stock of the First <br />Christian Church. <br /> <br />PERSONNEL BOARD The Clerk of the Council adminis- <br />APPOINTMENT tered the oath of office to Mr. <br /> Everett Winters, newly appointed <br />Member of the Personnel Board, for the term expiring June 30, 1971. <br /> <br />SPECIAL RESOLUTION Mayor Griset presented RESOLUTION <br />PRESENTATION 69-149 PAYING TRIBUTE AND HONOR <br /> TO THE SANTA ANA SOCCER TEAM <br />ON WINNING THE CALIFORNIA LEAGUE CHAMPIONSHIP FOR THE CITY OF <br />SANTA ANA to Dr. Emelio Abitia, who introduced the Santa Ana Soqcer Team. <br />The Junior Soccer Team was also introduced. <br /> <br />UNDERGROUND UTILITY Hearing was opened to determine <br />DISTRICT NO. 1 whether the public necessity, health, <br /> safety, or welfare will be served, by <br />the establishment of Underground Utility District No. 1, area between Main <br />and Bush Streets from 8th to llth Streets. Mr. Harold Segerstrom, one of <br />the property owners requesting the District, was present and spoke in favor <br />of establishing the District. No one spoke in opposition~?~Th~? hearing was <br />closed.
