· Agenda Order Pedestrian <br /> 'Walkway Easement (continued) <br /> <br />The Mayor recognized Mrs. Grace Callahan, 2702 Lingan Lane, who stated <br />.that in view of the fact that she would be unable to be present for the evening <br />meeting, she would like to voice her objection to closing off the easement <br />used as a school walkway between South Marine and West Lingan Lane; that <br />in her opinion a block wall fence separating the complainant's property from <br />the easement would solve his problem; and that the other routes to school <br />would necessitate crossing very dangerous intersections or involve much <br />greater distances. <br /> <br />ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGE LICENSE <br />APPLICATIONS <br /> <br />The following Alcoholic Beverage <br />License Applications were considered: <br /> <br />Orbit Inn, 3601 W. 1st, New On Sale Beer; <br />Punji Pit, 1630 S. Westminster, On Sale Beer, Person Transfer, <br /> <br />It was moved by Councilman Herrin, seconded by Councilman Evans and <br />carried, that a protest be filed on "The Showroom", 2509 South Main Street, <br />with the Alcoholic Beverage Control Board and the other applications be <br />ordered filed. <br /> <br />TRAFFIC Report of control devices removed or <br /> installed September 9, 1969, through <br /> September 24, 1969, was ordered filed, <br />on motion of Councilman Herrin, seconded by Councilman Markel, and <br />unanimously carried. <br /> <br />VARIANCE AND CONDITIONAL It was moved by CoUncilman Patterson, <br />USE PERMIT se,conded by Councilman Herrin and <br /> unanimously carried, to adopt the <br />findings of fact, conclusions and decisions of the Planning Commission or <br />Zoning Administrator as actions of'the City Council on the following: <br /> <br />VA 69-70, KOWALCYK - construct room additions that encroach <br />to within 7 1/2 ' of rear property line in R 1 District at 641 Patricta <br />Lane - DENIED; <br /> <br />It was moved by Councilman Patterson, seconded by Councilman Herrin and <br />unanimously carried, to adopt the findings of fact, conclusions and decisions <br />of the Planning Commission or Zoning Administrator as actions of the City <br />Council on the following: <br /> <br />VA 69-71, LEVITT & SONS OF CALIF., INC. - permit construction <br />of modeI home complex and sales facility with0' side yards on one <br />side and front yards of 10-30 ' in R 1 District at 3200 S.
