<br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />8' <br /> <br />CITY OF SANTA ANA <br />CITY COUNCIL COMMITTEE ON <br />MAIN STREET DEVELOPMENT <br /> <br />MINUTES <br />February 18, 2004 <br /> <br />CALL TO ORDER <br />The meeting convened at 7:30 a.m. in City Hall, Room 831, 20 Civic Center Plaza, <br />Santa Ana, California. <br /> <br />ATTENDANCE <br />City Council Committee members present: Council member Claudia Alvarez, <br />Council member Lisa Bist and Councilmember Jose Solorio. <br /> <br />Staff members present: Community Development Agency Executive Director John P. <br />Reekstin, Downtown Development Manager Matt Lamb, Associate Planner Bob St. <br />Paul, Community Preservation Inspector Alvaro Nunez. <br /> <br />Representative of the Orange County Youth Commission Center: Rosie Avila <br /> <br />AGENDA ITEMS <br /> <br />1. <br /> <br />APPROVAL OF MINUTES - January 21,2004 <br /> <br />Action: The minutes were approved 3:0 <br /> <br />2. <br /> <br />PROPOSED CODE ENFORCEMENT ACTIONS <br /> <br />. Alvaro Nunez reported that Notices of Violation continue to be issued in the <br />Downtown and South Main areas. Downtown signage violations will be <br />addressed and illegal merchandise display will be cited. The outstanding <br />Notice of Violation on the Otis Building will be enforced. Matt Lamb provided <br />an update on the new Ambassador Program in the Downtown, which will <br />focus on enhanced maintenance and will commence in March. <br /> <br />138-3 <br />
