Proposal Exterior Paint and Structural Retrofit <br />City of Santa Ana -Two Reservoirs <br />February 23, 2004 <br />b. All members ofteam shall poses a current certificate of qualification and <br />training in CPR/First aid. <br />E. SCOPE OF WORK - TECHMCAL SPECIFICATIONS <br />1. Prepare technical specification in Word format covering <br />structuraUseismic/safetyretrofit tothe reservoirs. Including the following items <br />requested by the City: <br />a. New 6' x 6` roof hatch <br />b. New exterior staircases <br />c. Overflow airgap <br />d. New cathodic protection hand hole covers <br />e. Bird control system on the West Reservoir <br />2. Prepare plans for the retrofit including the following plan sheets: <br />a. Cover Sheet <br />b. Reservoir layout and vicinity maps <br />c. Detail sheets of retrofit items - 6 to 10 sheets <br />3. Prepare technical specifications in Word format covering exterior painting of <br />both reservoirs and interior coating repair from structural retrofit for both <br />reservoirs. <br />4. Submit to District for 60% review and meet with City to discuss revisions. <br />Accomplish all revisions determined needed. <br />5. Submit to District for 90% review and meet with City to discuss revisions. <br />Accomplish all revisions determined needed. <br />6. Accomplish all revisions determined needed. Final submittal shall include a <br />computor disc of technical specifications and plans as well as hard copy of <br />technical specifications and Mylar plan sheets. <br />7. Prepare and submit Schedule of Work Items for project and engineer's estimate <br />based on items. <br />F. SCOPE OF WORK -CONSTRUCTION SUPPORT <br />1. Assist City in conducting Pre-Bid Conference to ensure prospective bidders are <br />totally aware of scope of work and local conditions. <br />a.
