Ciry of Santa Ana <br />Coating, Painting and Structural Inspection Proposal <br />March 15, 2004 <br />over safety precautions and programs in connection with the <br />work. <br />(5) Shall not advise on, issue directions regarding or assume control <br />over any aspect of the CONTRACTOR'S means, methods, <br />techniques, sequences or procedures of construction unless such <br />advice or directions are specifically required by the Contract <br />Documents. <br />(6) Shall not accept Shop Drawings or sample submittals from <br />anyone other than CONTRACTOR, and shall immediately <br />deliver such submittals to ENGINEER/OWNER. <br />(7) Shall not authorize ENGINEER/OWNER to occupy the Project <br />in whole or in part. <br />(8) Shall not participate in specialized field or laboratory tests or <br />inspections conducted by others except as specificallyauthorized <br />by ENGINEER/OWNER. <br />b. Definitions: <br />(1) ENGINEER/OWNER is intended to apply as a joint reference or <br />a single reference subject to the applicable circumstances. <br />II. CITY RESPONSIBILITIES <br />A, The City shall provide the following items, personnel and/or services to be utilized in <br />connection with this work. <br />1. Two copies of all drawings and relevant records for the reservoir, as required, <br />2. The City shall make available to the Consultant reasonable and timely staff input <br />for purposes of conference discussion, reviewing submissions from the <br />Consultant, providing factual information and/or suggestions relating to the <br />work in a manner such that the Consultant may meet the project completion <br />schedule. <br />3. The City shall provide designated water operations person for access to reservoir <br />sites and unobstructed access to reservoir interior upon request by the <br />Consultant at time and in the manner mutually agreed upon as required to <br />accommodate work of Consultant. <br />4.
