APPEAL 232 (continued) <br /> <br />The hearing was closed. <br /> <br />The Planning Director explained that the area is an agricultural zone and there <br />have been no requests for changing the zoning; that with the conditional use <br />permit, the riding stable is a permitted use. <br /> <br />After discussion regarding pre-existing uses (before an area was annexed) <br />and the policy not to allow expansion of pre-existing uses, it was moved <br />by Councilman Villa, seconded by Councilman Herrin, to table the decision <br />on the mat~er until the May 4 Council meeting for a staff report on legal <br />and illegal uses in the A-1 zone; to explain the facts on what is permitted <br />and what is not permitted there; and an explanation of the A 1 ~.one purpose. <br />The motion was adopted on the following roll call vote: <br /> <br />AYES: <br />NOES; <br />ABSENT: <br /> <br />Herrin, Markel, Villa, Yamamoto <br />Evans, Patterson, Griset <br /> None <br /> <br />RECESS <br /> <br />present. <br /> <br />At ll:05 P. M., a five minute recess was <br />decla.red. The Council reconvened at <br />ll:10 P. M., with all Council members <br /> <br />WALKWAY CLOSING Council considered the petition <br />REQUEST containing approximately 13 signatures <br /> of residents of the 2600 block of North <br />Louise requesting permission to close the walkway at the end of the cul-de-sac <br />with a six foot wall. On motion of Councilman Herrin, seconded by Councilman <br />Markel and unanimously carried, Council approved the staff recommendation <br />and authorized the closure at the property owners' expense of the pedestrian <br />walk-way at the north end of the Louise Street cul-de-sac at Memory Lane. <br /> <br />BUDGET TRANSFER On motion of Councilman Herrin, <br /> seconded by Councilman Yamamoto <br /> and unanimously carried, Council <br />authorized Budget Transfer from Fund 51-231, Recreation and Parks, <br />Administration, to Fund 51-267, Recreation and Parks Macco Tract Park <br />No. 1, in the amount of $6,000.00. <br /> <br />REIMBURSEMENT On motion of Councilman Herrin, <br /> seconded by Councilman Yamamoto <br /> and unanimously carried, Council <br />authorized reimbursement to Cameo Homes for street improvements on the <br />north side of Fairhaven, west of Tustin, in the amount of $2,490.45. <br /> <br />CHICAGO SEVEN <br /> <br />Councilman Herrin read portions of <br />the proposed resolution of the Board <br />of Supervisors to be considered at <br /> <br />CITY COUNCIL -113- April 20, 1970 <br /> <br /> <br />
