<br />One Broadway Plaza <br />Environmental Impact Report <br /> <br />Findings and Facts in Support of Findings <br /> <br />4.2.2.2 Findings Related to Fugitive Dust <br /> <br />Changes or alterations have been required in, or incorporated into, the One Broadway Plaza <br />project which avoid or substantially lessen the significant environmental effect as identified in <br />the EIR. <br /> <br />4.2.2.3 Facts in Support of the Finding Related to Fugitive Dust <br /> <br />Implementation of mitigation measure G-3, provided below, will substantially lessen the adverse <br />impacts of the One Broadway Plaza project related to fugitive dust, and will reduce these <br />potentially significant adverse impacts to below a level of significance. <br /> <br />G-3 <br /> <br />Prior to obtaining a grading pennit for project construction, the Final Geology and Soils <br />Report will specifically assess grading control with special emphasis on controlling fugitive <br />dust which could be generated during site preparation, grading and construction. The <br />reports will specifically provide for establishing procedures for dust control and monitoring <br />so that unacceptable levels of dust do not escape from the site. These dust control measures <br />will be coordinated with the dust control measures described in Section 3.4 (Air Quality). <br />The standards and procedures developed in the reports will be incorporated into the grading <br />plan to be followed by the project developer. <br /> <br />4.2.3.1 Potentially Significant Adverse Impact Related to Seismicity <br /> <br />As described in detail in Section 3.2 (Topography, Geology and Soils) in the EIR, construction <br />the One Broadway Plaza project will be subject to future seismic activity. <br /> <br />4.2.3.2 Findings Related to Seismicity <br /> <br />Changes or alterations have been required in, or incorporated into, the One Broadway Plaza <br />project which avoid or substantially lessen the significant environmental effect as identified in <br />the EIR. <br /> <br />4.2.3.3 Facts in Support of the Finding Related to Seismicity <br /> <br />Implementation of mitigation measure G-4, provided below, will substantially lessen the adverse <br />impacts of the One Broadway Plaza project related to seismicity, and will reduce these <br />potentially signific~t adverse impacts to below a level of significance. <br /> <br />G-4 All structures to be erected on the One Broadway Plaza site will be designed in accordance <br />with the seismic design provisions in the Final Geology and Soils Report and of the Unifonn <br />Building Code to promote safety in the event of such an earthquake. <br /> <br />4.2.4.1 Potentially Significant Adverse Impact Related to Groundwater <br /> <br />U/vfregosolwp5 J /reports/One Broadway final findings <br />June 28, 2004 <br /> <br />Page 2 J <br />
