De Vos, creating two (2) R 1 parcels <br /> on La Vergn Way, 528 feet south of Hazard <br />Avenue, was approved subject to condilions in Planning Director's report dated <br />May 21, 1970, on motion of Councilman I-Ierrin, seconded by Councilman Evans and <br />unanimously carried. <br /> <br />Councilman Patterson requested a staff report on the possibility of changing <br />the present policy of the City to one which would require dedication and <br />improvements upon issuance of building permits and a bond guarantee for <br />dedication and improvements on parcel maps filed for future development. <br /> <br />PARCEL MAP 661 Parcel Map 661, filed by Marilyn Funk, <br /> creating three (3) R 2 parcels on the <br /> southwest corner of Newhope and Posey <br />Streets, was approved subject to conditions in Planning Director's report dated <br />May 22, 1970, and alley requirement was waived, on motion of Councilman Herrin, <br />seconded by Councilman Yamamoto and unanimously carried. <br /> <br />Due to a conflict of interest on the following item, Councilman Evans left the <br />Council Chambers. <br /> <br />FINAL MAP, TRACT 7086 Final Tract Map 7086, filed by <br /> Santiago Development Company, <br /> creating one lot east of Bristol Street <br />and north of MacArthur Boulevard, was approved, dedications thereon accepted, <br />and execution of subdivision agreement was authorized, on motion of Councilman <br />Herrin, seconded by Councilman Patterson and unanimously carried. <br /> <br />Councilman Evans returned to the Council table. <br /> <br />SURPLUS SCRAP On motion of Councilman Patterson, <br /> seconded by Councilman Herrin and <br /> unanimously carried, Council authorized <br />the Purchasing and Property Control Officer to sell scrap as ii accumulales <br />during the fiscal year 1970-71, in accordance with Section 2-704 of the Municipal <br />Code. <br /> <br />CITY COUNCIL -149- June 1, 1970 <br /> <br /> <br />
