TRAFFIC The report of control devices <br /> removed or installed from <br /> February 19 through March 10, 1971, <br />inclusive, was received and ordered filed, on motion of Councilman Herrin, <br />seconded by Councilman Patterson, and unanimously carried. <br /> <br />ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGE It was moved by Councilman Herrin, <br />LICENSE APPLICATIONS seconded by Councilman Yamamoto <br /> and unanimously carried, to receive <br />and file the following A/coholic Beverage License Applications: <br /> <br />THE RED TURTLE, 1019 S. Fairview, On Sale General, <br /> Stock Transfer; <br />DIZZYLAND TAVERN, 718 E. Fourth, On Sale Beer, <br /> Person Transfer; <br />ZODYS, 1900 N. Grand, Off Sale Beer & Wine, New Original; <br />EL RIO CAFE, 3317 W. First, On Sale Beer, Person Transfer; <br /> <br />and to instruct the City Attorney to file a protest with the Alcoholic Beverage <br />Control Board to the issuance of the following license because it is located <br />within 300 feetof a residential zone: <br /> <br />JADE DRAGON, 2019 S. Main, On Sale Beer & Wine, <br />New Original. <br /> <br />SOLICITATION APPLICATIONS The following Solicitation Applications <br /> were approved on motion of <br /> Councilman Evans, seconded by <br />Councilman Iqerrln; with Councilmen Markel and Patterson dissenting. <br /> <br />American Cancer Society, Orange County Branch, 18356 Irvine <br />Blvd., Tustin, neighbor-to-neighbor crusade, April 1, 1971 and <br />continuing until all kits are returned to volunteers, but not beyond <br />May 31, 1971. <br /> <br />The Salvation Army, a California Corporation, lZ9 E. Cypress <br />Street, Anaheim, sale of "The War Cry;' a religious publication, <br />April - May with permission to renew at the end of 60 days. <br /> <br />United Cerebral Palsy Association of Orange County, Inc., 30Z0 <br />W.
