MUELLER - (Cont. <br /> <br />Councilman Patterson's motion, seconded by Councilman Herrin, to <br />approve Amendment Application #684, carried on the following roll <br />call vote: <br /> <br />,AYES: <br /> <br />NOES: <br />ABSENT: <br /> <br />Patterson, Herrin, Villa, Evans, Griset, Yamamoto, <br /> Markel <br />None <br />None <br /> <br />PUBLIC HEARING <br />APPEAL #275 (VA 71-21) <br />SANTA ANA UNIFIED SCHOOL <br />DISTRICT <br /> <br />At the request of the Derby Land <br />Company, applicant and the <br />Santa Ana Unified School District, <br />appellant, this matter was <br />continued to the next regular <br /> <br />meeting, July 19, 1971, at 7:30 P.M., on motion of Councilman Herrin, <br />seconded by Councilman Markel, and unanimously carried. <br /> <br />PACIFIC OUTDOOR Mr. Herbert A. Moss, Attorney, <br />ADVERTISING BILLBOARD 1580 E. Edinger, reviewed the <br /> request contained in his letter of <br />June 29, 1971, to revoke a permit issued to Pacific Outdoor Advertising <br />Company authorizing the relocation of an existing billboard located on <br />Edinger immediately adjacent to the Newport Freeway. <br /> <br />Mr. Larry Souza, 809 E. Hoover Street, President of Township Food <br />Service Company which owns the property involved, was also present <br />and spoke briefly. <br /> <br />In discussion, the Council requested clarification as to whether or not <br />this would be considered a new sign, or an existing sign that is being <br />relocated. The matter was referred to staff for further investigation <br />and report at the next Council meeting, July 19, 1971, on motion of <br />Councilman Villa, seconded by Councilman Evans, and carried on the <br />following roll call vote: <br /> <br />AYES: Villa, Evans, Griset, Markel <br />NOES: Herrin, Yamamoto, Patterson <br />ABSENT: None <br /> <br />CITY COUNCIL -233- July 6, 1971 <br /> <br /> <br />
