TENTATIVE PARCEL MAPS - (Continued) <br /> <br />TENTATIVE PARCEL MAP #707 - Filed by Rinker Development <br />Corporation, creating one (1) R 1, two (2) CR and one (1) A 1 - <br />CR parcel for commercial purposes, located generally on the <br />east side of Bristol Street, north of Sunflower Avenue, subject <br />to conditions contained in report of Planning Director dated August <br />5, 1971; and alley requirements were waived. <br /> <br />TENTATIVE PARCEL MAP #708 - Filed by Rinker Development <br />Corporation, creating three (3) CR parcels for commercial <br />use, located generally on the east side of Bristol Street, south <br />of MacArthur Boulevard, subject to conditions contained in <br />Planning Director's report dated August 5, 1971; and alley <br />requirements were waived. <br /> <br />TENTATIVE PARCEL MAP #709 - Filed by Joe Ojeda, creating <br />two (2) R 1 B and C 1 parcels, located generally on the north <br />side of First Street, 165 feet east of Cooper Street~. subject to <br />conditions contained in Planning Director's report dated August <br />9, 1971; and alley requirements were waived. <br /> <br />FINAL MAP, TRACT 7474 It was moved by Councilman <br /> Herrin, seconded by Council- <br /> msn Evans, and unanimously <br />carried, to approve Final Map, Tract #7474, accept tbe dedications <br />thereon, and authorize execution of the subdivision agreement and bonds. <br /> <br />STATE HIGHWAY SYSTEM Letter dated August 11, 1971, <br /> from the Director of Public Works, <br /> advising Council of a public <br />hearing relating to changes in the State Highway System was received and <br />ordered filed, on motion of Councilman Herrin, seconded by Councilman <br />Patterson.. and unanimously carried. <br /> <br />TRAFFIC PROBLEM Councilman Evans asked about <br />FOURTH STREET methods of relieving traffic <br /> congesti'~n on east Fourth Street. <br />The Director of Public Works stated that they have investigated this problem; <br />that it was suggested that they remove four parking stalls at the corner of <br />Fourth and Spurgeon to allow an additional, line of traffic to reform informally, <br />but that property owners objected to this approach; that they do not believe <br />it is a left-turn problem, but rather the volume of traffic east-bound through <br />the middle of the day, <br /> <br />HOBBY KENNELS Councilman Herrin stated that <br /> the Council had requested the <br /> Staff some time ago to continue <br />their study and report back to the Council on hobby kennels and it now appears <br />the matter should be postponed indefinitely. On motion of Councilman Herrin, <br />seconded by Councilman Evans, and unanimously carried, Council withdrew <br />their request to the City Attorney's office for a study and report on hobby kennels. <br /> <br />CITY COUNCIL -281- August 16, 1971 <br /> <br /> <br />
