PUBLIC HEARING The Mayor announced that the <br />PEEP SHOW PERMIT applicant, Harbor Distributing <br />HARBOR DISTRIBUTING CO. ~ Company, had requested a <br /> continuance of the public hearing <br />to October 18, 1971, to consider the appeal filed from the denial by the Hearing <br />Officer of application for permits for peep show establishments located at <br />225 N. Harbor Boulevard and 1510 North Harbor Boulevard. <br /> <br />It was moved by Councilman Herrin, seconded by Councilman Evans and ' <br />unanimously carried, to continue the public hearing to October 18, at 7:30 <br />P.M. <br /> <br />NATIONAL LEAGUE OF CITIES <br />CONFERENCE - NOVEMBER 28- <br />DECEMBER 1, 1971 <br /> <br />League of Cities Conference. <br /> <br />Mayor Lorin Griset and <br />Councilman Jerry Patterson were <br />named delegate and alternate, <br />respectively, to the National <br /> <br />LEAGUE OF CALIFORNIA CITIES Councilman Patterson requested <br />CONFERENCE SEPTEMBER 26 - 29, 1971 that a substitute alternate delegate <br /> be appointed as his replacement <br />since he would not be attending the conference. On motion of Councilman <br />Patterson, seconded by Councilman Evans and unanimously carried, Council- <br />man Ray Villa was appointed as the alternate delegate to the Conference. <br /> <br />VALUATION APPRAISAL It was moved by Councilman <br />WILLOWICK GOLF COURSE Yamamoto, seconded by Councilman <br /> Patterson to reconsider the matter <br />of the appraisal of the Willowick Golf Course property, acted upon at the <br />Council meeting held on September 7. The motion to reconsider carried on the <br />following roll call vote: <br /> <br />AYES: <br />NOES: <br />A BSE NT: <br /> <br />Yamamoto, Patterson, Villa, Griset, Markel <br />Evans, Herrin <br />None <br /> <br />Following considerable discussion, it was moved by Councilman Yamamoto0 <br />seconded by Councilman Villa to approve the appraisal proposal submitted <br />by Goode and Goode, dated August 23, 1971, and to authorize them to proceed <br />to appraise the property as an operating golf course, for a fee of $5,250.
