AYES: Griset, Markel, Garthe, Yamamoto, Patterson, <br /> Evans, Ward <br /> <br />NOES: None <br /> <br />ABSENT: None <br /> <br />Prior to voting, the Director of Public Works stated that he <br />was only seeking Council input at that time; that the matter <br />would come before Council two or more additional times before <br />any project commenced. <br /> <br />J. W. Smith, 1323 N. Broadway, stated that he was the owner of <br />a professional building near the proposed revised interchange, <br />and that he had been told a year and a half before that the State <br />would be taking his property; that the only information he had been <br />able to obtain from the State was that they were waiting for the <br />City to decide on a plan. (CA 29.10) <br /> <br />PLANNING COMMISSION - Council increased the <br />COMPENSATION compensation to each Plan- <br /> ning Commission member <br /> to $25.00 per meeting with <br />a maximum of $50.00 per month, and the additional sum of $25.00 <br />per month for expenses if at least one meeting is attended <br />during the month, effective November 1, 1973, on motion of <br />Councilman Griset, seconded by Councilman Ward, and carried <br />with Councilman Markel dissenting. (CA 78.1) <br /> <br />COMMUNITY REDEVELOPMENT Council acted to compensate <br />COMMISSION COMPENSATION each member of the Community <br /> Redevelopment Commission <br /> with the sum of $20.00 per <br />meeting, contingent upon attendance at the entire meeting, with <br />a maximum of $40.00 per month, effective November 1, 1973, on <br />motion of Councilman Griset, seconded by Councilman Ward, and <br />carried with Councilmen Markel and Evans dissenting. (CA 82.1) <br /> <br />HUMAN RELATIONS COMMISSION Council acted to compensate <br />COMPENSATION each member of the Human <br /> Relations Commission with <br /> the sum of $15.00 per meet- <br />ing, contingent upon attendance at the entire meeting, with a <br />maximum of $30.00 per month, effective November 1, 1973, on <br />motion of Councilman Griset, seconded by Councilman Ward, and <br />carried with Councilmen Markel and Evans dissenting. (CA 131.1) <br /> <br />PERSONNEL BOARD - Council acted to compensate <br />COMPENSATION each member of the Person- <br /> nel Board with the sum of <br /> $20.00 per month maximum, <br />except for special hearings that may be held, in which case they <br />would receive the sum of $20.00 per meeting for such hearings, <br />effective November 1, 1973, on motion of Councilman Griset, <br />seconded by Councilman Ward, and carried with Councilmen Markel <br />and Evans dissenting.
