County of San Joaquin <br />an agreement, proposer shall not be entitled to additional compensation or time by reason <br />of the error or its later correction. This RFP will be an inclusive part of the agreement. <br />The County will consider proposer requests for clarification and modification to RFP <br />received before or on "Deadline for Proposer Questions" (See Section 4 for key dates for <br />the proposal). All requests must be in writing and submitted to the Purchasing <br />Department. The County reserves the right to modify requirements should a proposer <br />identify a change that is in the best interest of the County. The County will modify the <br />RFP through the issuance of an addendum. <br />During the RFP period, the County may advise the Proposer in writing of additions, <br />omissions or alterations in the requirements. All such changes shall be included in the <br />RFP and become part of the requirements as if originally submitted. <br />Addendum <br />The County reserves the right to modify the RFP prior to the date fixed for submission of <br />proposals by issuance of an addendum to all parties who have received the RFP. The <br />Purchasing Department will issue all addenda. <br />Notice <br />Any notice, demand, request, consent, approval or communication that either party <br />desires or is required to give the other party shall be in writing and either served <br />personally, sent by pre -paid first -class mail (or the equivalent thereof by private carrier), <br />via electronic mail, or via facsimile transmission. Any such writing sent to the County <br />shall be addressed to <br />County of San Joaquin <br />Purchasing Department <br />222 East Weber Avenue, Room 675 <br />Stockton, CA 95202 <br />Attention: Don Fisicaro <br />Email dfisicaro i co.san- ioaquin.ca.us or fax (209) 468 -3993 <br />Examination of the REP and County Requirements <br />Proposers should carefully examine the RFP and any addendum thereto, and all related <br />materials and data referenced in the RFP or otherwise available to proposer and should be <br />fully aware of the conditions to be encountered. <br />Submission of Proposal <br />The proposal should be prepared to provide a straight forward, concise delineation of <br />responsibilities to satisfy the requirements of the RFP. EMPHASIS SHOULD BE <br />CONCENTRATED ON COMPLETENESS AND CLARITY OF CONTENT. <br />12 <br />
